The World DotA Championships 2011 will be held from November 11 – 13 in Wuhan, China with an expected prize pool of USD 50, 000. There will be four qualifying categories conducted both online and offline.
- Chinese Professional
- Chinese Non-Professional
- Asian
- European
The event is expected to be huge, based on its popularity last year. The 6000-seat stadium at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology was completely full on the final day and NEOTV webcasts received over 300 million daily hits.
