Besides the announced new heroes, IceFrog announced the new Reliable vs Unreliable Gold system in his blog. Players can save up money to buy bigger items, even if you keep dying because gold can be saved in your Reliable Gold pool. This element requires more teamwork because it increases the importance of letting your carry heroes get hero kills, so that they can save up even if they die. This decreases the significance of dying if you have many hero kills and used up your Unreliable Gold before dying.
“Reliable Gold” – Any bounty you get from hero kills or from the extra “aoe kill gold” bonus (feature from few patches ago) is added to your Reliable Gold pool.
“Unreliable Gold” – It is everything else (creep kills, neutrals, etc).
Dying can only take away gold from your Unreliable Gold pool and not from your Reliable Gold. Buying items uses up your Unreliable Gold first before using your Reliable Gold.
It doesn’t require extra work, just a bit of math while in the game. The total gold will still be shown at the top bar with the Reliable Gold displayed in the scoreboard title. Maybe DotA players will become better at instant subtraction?

910 Total Gold - 410 Reliable Gold = 500 Unreliable Gold. If you want to save up money, it's best to spend 500 gold or less at that point in time. (Source: PlayDotA)
Personally, I like this new element because I’m pro teamwork and ganking. Hopefully, there will be even more emphasis on ganking. Looking forward to seeing how it will affect competitive DotA. Do you like this new feature?
Don’t forget to check out IceFrog’s blog! Tons of interesting stuff on there! For those of you who don’t know who he is because you’re so engross with playing the awesome game that you don’t see his messages, he’s the developer.

Yea I’ve seen that on his blog.
It could make the gameplay more aggressive, but I still feel it will reduce the fear of death in ganks.
In competitive games, I think that the carries will be the ones with the most hero kills. Carries are usually the ones with higher levels. I don’t think they would want to die and help the enemy level up drastically because of their death.
I have a question.
If I have 0 unreliable gold and 500 reliable gold.
Someone kills me, then will the gold for the kill be deducted from my reliable gold?
P.S : check my reply to your mail that you sent me about the right Id ..
Thanks for taking the time to write that, I found it very detailed. If you get a chance you should visit my blog as well. I hope you have a good day!
Dying will never deduct from your reliable gold, even if you have 0 unreliable gold.
I process requests in a fair manner, so if you sent an e-mail it will get processed. =)
